Bike to School Month Begins

May is “Bike to School Month,” and Thurgood Marshall will be celebrating with some surprises, as well as competing with other schools. Remember to tally your cycling minutes (of any sort) this month. We will need full participation from all TM riders to beat last year’s record!

Student Instrumental Music Concert
May 10 @ 7:00 pm – 8:15 pm

Family and friends are encouraged to attend this exciting event and support our student musicians. String students should arrive at 6:30, all other students should arrive at 6:45. Students should wear their best dark clothes.

The 6th annual Move-a-thon (during the school day) will involve activities such as running laps! Students will be asked to seek sponsors whose donations will support the school’s Self Help Fund, which provides field trip scholarships.

Volunteers needed.

Donation form and envelope will be sent home.

Student Choir Concert

Enjoy the great voices of Thurgood Marshall students. All student concerts are free of charge!

Choir students should arrive by 6:45 pm to get ready. Wear black or dark clothing; bring props such as funny sunglasses. Questions? Email Music Teacher Kelsey French, klfrench@seattleschools.org.

Families are asked to bring non-perishable food for Tutu’s Pantry.

Volunteers needed to set up chairs. Watch Pup Press for time.
