The March 2nd Pancake Breakfast and Art Walk  (note date change!) is a favorite school event! We urgently need some lead volunteers to assist with pre-event organization including food/beverage donation procurement from our previous donors. Join the festivities and sign up for an open slot (cook, collect donations, pick up supplies, hang art). Please see https://tinyurl.com/TMpancake2019 for more details and other ways you can help before or on the day of the event. If you have any questions, please contact volunteer coordinator Chantel Hazlewood at chazlewo@gmail.com or to coordinate helping with the art walk, please email Ms Strand at lswhitmore@seattleschools.org

5th-Grade Promotion Activities
Jun 18 @ 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

5th-grade families attend as we honor their students’ completion of elementary school. The theme this year is “Rise Up.” Festivities include:

Procession of Students and Promotion
5th-Grade Slide Show
Celebratory Treat Outside
Viewing of the Legacy Project Murals

  • Our recommended dress code for the event is “business casual,” meaning most students will be wearing nicer slacks and shirts or dresses.
  • We expect a large number of people in attendance.  Plan to arrive early (but not earlier than 4:30) to get a good seat, and consider that parking may take a bit longer than usual.
  • A photographer will take a picture of each child receiving their certificate during the ceremony.  Parents will receive the photo the week following graduation.
