Individual photos are taken of all students (no obligation to purchase). Order forms are sent home in advance, but you also will be able to purchase photos online after Picture Day proofs are sent home.

Meet the families and students in your child’s grade! Bring a dish based on your child’s last name:

  • A-M Main Dish
  • N-R Side or Salad
  • S-Z Dessert

PTA will supply water, utensils and plates!

‘Dads & Kids’ Pizza Night @ Cafeteria

1st annual ‘Dads and Kids’ Pizza Night featuring presentation about the new Bullpup Dads Program based on the nationally recognized WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) Program to help father figures connect with students to build positive relationships and attitudes about school.

At TM, the goal this year is to have each father-figure spend at least half a day volunteering at school, helping to be a positive male role model to our students.

Any significant male adult in a child’s life is welcome! Dads, granddads, uncles, step-dads, foster dads and adult brothers . . . pizza night is your chance to have a night out with your student in a fun atmosphere at school.

RSVP requested (but not required) on this form.

Family Game Night @ Cafeteria

Try out all sorts of board games, presented by the PTA and Blue Highway Games, a Queen Anne store. FREE! Back by popular demand!

  • Appetizer potluck! Share your non-messy dish and socialize.
  • Door prizes!
  • Event is FREE, but you will be able to purchase games from Blue Highway. Orders will be delivered to your child’s classroom later in the month.
  • Volunteers needed: Fun tasks, such as learning a game and helping demo it.

PTA Reflections arts contest deadline

Today is the deadline for entering the Thurgood Marshall round of this year’s national PTA “Reflections” contest. This program offers recognition for students’ visual art (2D or 3D), music composition, photography, film, writing or dance choreography! The 2017-18 theme is “Within Reach.”

TM Class Photo Day, plus individual retakes

Yuen Lui Photographers will take group photos in each classroom. Individual pictures will be taken on request if your child missed Photo Day in September or needs a retake. (Details on the retake procedure will be included when your photo order is delivered.)
