Film on kids’ anxiety March 13

Don’t miss the chance March 13 to see “Angst,” the eye-opening documentary about kids and anxiety. You’ll also have a chance to be part of a moderated conversation about what we can do as parents. FREE! Co-sponsored by the TM and Meany Middle School PTAs!

  • At 6:30 p.m., Meany MS, 301 21st Ave E.
  • Snacks and drinks for sale.
  • The film is appropriate for ages 10 and up.

TM parents who viewed the 56-minute documentary on March 1 had comments such as this:

“The movie helped me realize that an anxiety disorder could be the reason why my son insists on missing a sports-team practice rather than showing up late. I’m going to talk to a counselor about it.”

“Mere exposure to these children’s interviews can help other kids be more empathetic. I think my 5th-grader absorbed enough to be more understanding and recognizing of anxious kids.”
